BEFORE APPLYING FOR ADOPTION PLEASE READ
IMPORTANT! Before you consider
a Siberian Husky, please understand that they need an owner that will long-term
commit to giving them obedience, activity, exercise and entertainment. They
have a unique character, are extremely intelligent and have a high energy
level. They are strictly indoor pets and can NEVER be let off leash or left
in a backyard un-supervised; they are escape artists!! Also, they are not
guard dogs. Because of these characteristics and traits, they can frustrate
almost anyone. Siberian Huskies can be a lot of work, and they should be only
owned by those that are aware and most importantly, willing to work with the
breed. Please, before adopting this multi-characteristic breed into your home,
take your time and surf through our website. Know the facts first! You should
consider another breed if this variety of relationship does not appeal to
you, but please do your research when adopting any breed of dog.
All applicants MUST live in Florida.
If you live outside of Florida, please visit www.siberianrescue.com
to find a listing of husky rescues in your area.
Adopters must be 21 years or older. Adoptions
cannot be made as gifts. The recipient is required to fill out a SFSHRI application.
PLEASE
NOTE: Effective
January 1, 2009, SFSHRI will be instituting a non refundable $25 application

is completed. Either Paypal or a cashier/bank
check is accepted. As soon as funds are cleared, you will be notified and
we will begin processing your application. We look forward to working with
you.

Hi, I’m Apollo and I just came into rescue. I am a very sweet boy, and very handsome. I love people and I love to be loved. I walk well on a leash, and am crate trained. I am still being evaluated, so there is more to come on me. If you are interested, keep your eye on my bio for further updates. |

My name is Buddy and my family had to give me up because they had to move. I have been moved around a lot in my life and I would love to have a stable forever home where I never have to worry about being moved again. I am a very well behaved boy. I love to go for walks, play with other dogs, and enjoy life. I like kids and all dogs big and small. I am housebroken and crate trained, and am a very smart boy, so they say. I have a very laid back personality and love people. If you will give me a chance to come and live with you, I will show you how much love I have in me to give back. Please adopt me. |

Hello, my name is Mitzi. I'm new to this (rescue) but have a couple years under my harness. Would you consider adopting me please :) |

I’m Kota and I am still a puppy. I love affection and attention and I would do best as the only dog in the house. My new owners should be husky knowledgeable because I still need lots of husky manners taught to me cause I don’t walk well on a leash yet, and I need to learn to have a longer attention span as I tend to act like a stubborn husky sometimes (but I am a husky, is my thoughts, so why not act like one. I am told this is not good behavior). I love to play, I’m housebroken and crate trained. It would really be great if you can adopt me and I could be your very best friend forever. I sure would like to have someone love and care about me, could you think about it please? |

Alex is a handsome brown-eyed boy with a rich gray and white coat. He is housebroken, but not crate trained. Alex loves to play with a tennis ball. He chews them like they are bubble gum. He likes to rinse them off in his water dish too He has once lived with a cat, but is not necessarily cat friendly. He walks well on a leash and is good with children and likes people in general. He also will let you know when it is time to eat! He starts 'talking' to you between 5-6pm to get your attention to let you know that he wants to eat! He is also good with the birds, doesn't seem to bother them. |
